Fees & Payment Options Our tutoring rates vary and depend on subjects of tutoring and grade levels. We determine the hourly rates based on distance of travel, subject of tutoring, grade levels, and number of tutoring hours purchased. Tucson Tutors prefer payment via cash or check. Tucson Tutors require payment prior to the date of service. Checks should be made payable to the tutor providing tutoring services, as all tutors provide services as independent members of a tutoring cooperative.
Tucson Tutors Cancellation Policy
Tucson Tutors understand that sometimes unforeseeable circumstances may necessitate changes in schedules. If such changes in plans lead to cancellation or rescheduling of a previously-scheduled lesson, we would waive our cancellation fees, provided that parents, guardians or college students notified us via our phone line at least two days prior to the originally scheduled tutoring session. Students are expect to arrive promptly for tutoring sessions, as tutors wait only 15 minutes for students to arrive. Should a student arrive late for a session, she or he will have forfeited that portion of the tutoring session, as tutoring sessions begin at the originally scheduled time, provided other arrangements have not been made in advance.
Any changes made for appointments without 48 hours prior notice will result in the cancellation fees equivalent to the full value of the cancelled session.
